Sin minimizar la violencia desatada en la España republicana, en las zonas que controlaron
los insurgentes la maquinaria represiva se puso en marcha al amparo de la conocida instrucción
reservada del general Mola de mayo de 1936. Una instrucción según la cual la actuación
debía de ser en extremo violenta para reducir lo antes posible al enemigo. Reflexionar sobre
la naturaleza y la tipología de dicha represión, al tiempo que determinar su incidencia en la
población malagueña, es lo que perseguimos con el presente trabajo.
Without diminishing the violence untied in republican Spain, in the zones that the
insurgents controlled the repressive machinery it started up al shelter of the well-known reserved
