In this paper, in a synthetic way, we analyze aspects of the conquest and integration process of the territory of Galicia in the Roman control. In our opinion, the Northern War very marginally affected the Galician territories and the ancient Galicians in general, who began going under the influence of Rome in 137 BC. However, the wars of Augustus are the moment of major administrative decisions, first with the creation of the province Transduriana (25-15 or 13 BC.), then the province of Lusitania (years 15-13 BC), where the Galician territory was included until, finally, all the Northwest became part of Tarraconense (7-2 years BC.).
