dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we investigate the downlink of homogeneous LTE cellular networks with Fractional Frequency Reuse (FFR) and sectorized antennas where non-ideal radiation patterns have been considered. Three frequency allocation schemes are proposed: i) static; ii) dynamic and iii) proportional, that differ in complexity and performance. Such schemes are compared in terms of aggregate (per cell) capacity and fairness for the case of 3 and 6 sectors. Results reveal that proportional allocation achieves a good balance between aggregate capacity and fairness, while dynamic allocation achieves the highest capacity with a small fairness. Finally, it is observed that 6-sectors configuration leads to a higher capacity and fairness. | es_ES |
