A new proof of the characterization of the weighted Hardy inequality
Bernardis-Medici, Ana Lucía; Martín-Reyes, Francisco Javier; Ortega-Salvador, Pedro (Cambridge University Press, 2005)Maz'ja and Sinnamon proved a characterization of the boundedness of the Hardy operator from Lp(v) into Lq(w) in the case 0 < q < p, 1 < p < ∞. We present here a new simple proof of the sufficiency part of that result. -
Convergence in the Cesàro sense of ergodic operators associated with a flow.
We study the a.e. convergence ofthe Ceshro-(1 +c) ergodic averages and the a.e. existence in the Ceso-u sense ofthe ergodic Hilbert transform associated with a Cesobounded flow and < c < 0. -
Multiresolution approximations and wavelet bases of weighted Lp spaces
Aimar, Hugo; Bernardis-Medici, Ana Lucía; Martín-Reyes, Francisco Javier (Springer, Birkhäuser Verlag, 2003)We study boundedness and convergence on L p(R n,dμ) of the projection operators P j given by MRA structures with non-necessarily compactly supported scaling function. As a consequence, we prove that if w is a locally ... -
One-sided Cp estimates via M# function.
Lorente-Domínguez, María; Martín-Reyes, Francisco Javier; Rivera Ríos, Israel P. (Cambridge, 2022-07-04)We recall that w ∈ C+p if there exist " > 0 and C > 0 such that for any a < b < c with c − b < b − a and any measurable set E ⊂ (a, b), the following holds. This condition was introduced by Riveros and de la Torre as a ... -
Singular integrals in the Cesàro sense
Bernardis-Medici, Ana Lucía; Martín-Reyes, Francisco Javier (Springer, Birkhäuser Verlag, 2000)The existence of the singular integral ∫K(x, y)f(y)dy associated to a Calderón-Zygmund kernel where the integral is understood in the principal value sense TF(x)=limε→0+∫|x−y|>εK(x, y)f(y)dy has been well studied. In this ... -
Some quantitative one-sided weighted estimates
Lorente-Domínguez, María; Martín-Reyes, Francisco Javier; Rivera Ríos, Israel P. (Elsevier, 2022-12-20)We show a link between affine differential geometry and null submanifolds in a semi-Riemannian manifold via statistical structures. Once a rigging for a null submanifold is fixed, we can construct a semi-Riemannian metric ...
